Cherry is a sleek-coated Red Saluki, Chippy the tradie’s girlfriend and unmissable on the road in a bright green ute and gold hoop earings. She has a glare that could even make Mum nervous, and Chippy has been on the receiving end of it more than once. She becomes a key part of the mystery Bluey and Bingo try to piece together spying on the tradies. 
 
While things seem rocky between Cherry and Chippy initially, they are for real life proof that enemies can become friends when you try to work it out. By the time the fish pond is done, the tools are packed away and the texting conversations have been had, it’s clear to see Cherry and Chippy are each other’s one true love. Very romance.
