Anything that makes a sound can be used as a substitute for the magic xylophone! Whether you’ve got a stick and a box, cutlery or even just using your hands to clap, if you can create a sound then that’s your ‘ding’ to freeze your fellow players just like Bluey and Bingo do in the Magic Xylophone episode.

Only requiring a collection of soft toys (or any toys of your choosing) and your arm, The Claw is a game that can be played anywhere! With your toys placed in a pile, kiddos can help operate the claw (aka your arm) to try and pick up the toy they have their eye on. Like real life claw machines, this game looks easy but you never know if the claw is going to hold onto the toy long enough to collect it!
From the toys that didn’t get packed away last night to the school bag that’s been left in the hallway, most parents probably feel like they’re already living in an obstacle course so why not make it fun! Using bags, soft toys, exercise equipment and household items (as long as they’re all safe in a play zone!), you can set up your very own obstacle course for family members to navigate. Race each other to see who can complete the course the fastest or challenge yourself to see what your personal record is.
