While everyone’s in hypersleep, he changes the ship’s course for a black hole! The crew wakes and tries to stop Mackenzie from venturing into the unknown, but he insists on going through the black hole alone.

Exiting on the other side, he regresses to being a young boy who has lost his Mum, but, in a vision, Calypso helps Mackenzie find his mum again. Now the trio can finally return to their game.
