See where some of your favourite festive moments began with these exclusive animatics from Ludo Studio.
what’s an animatic?
While Bluey scripts are being written, artists works on early drawings of what happens within the episode, called storyboards. Editors then cut the storyboards together into an animatic – which are like flip-books that play out the episode through key frames.
The animatic is edited with temporary sound effects and music, and the voices that have been pre-recorded by the cast and crew are added. It ends up as a template for the whole episode, which helps everyone see how the story will unfold before animation begins.
