New year, new balloon, and one big celebration for a massive Macy’s milestone! Bluey is back to join the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Inspired by the much-loved episode Christmas Swim, this year the brand-new giant Bluey balloon will wear her festive Christmas crown as she floats down the Parade route.
Featuring a unique pose designed by Ludo Studio and created by Macy’s Parade Studio’s team of artists, the balloon measures 47-feet long, 27.8-feet wide and 47.2-feet tall. That’s about as long as five monkey bars in a row and twice as wide as a pool that you’d play ‘classic catch’ in!
For real life Chilli and Bandit (Melanie Zanetti and Dave McCormack) will travel from Australia to New York to experience the Parade from the ground.
