
Get ready for ‘Wackadoo Weekend’ on ABC Kids and ABC iview!

Get ready for a Bluey bonanza! Celebrate the Bluey Wackadoo Weekend with episodes, minisodes and special extras airing across Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October from 7am to 7:30pm on ABC Kids and ABC iview.
The lineup includes Australian premieres of the brand new short-form series: Bluey Tunes, Bluey Cookalongs and Bluey Fancy Restaurant as well as Minisodes, Bluey Puppets and Bluey Book Reads available for the first time on ABC iview.
The popular theatrical adaptation Bluey’s Big Play will air on Saturday evening, and fan-favourite The Sign will close out the weekend on Sunday.
Designed to spark creativity and connection, the new short-form series co-commissioned by BBC Studios and the ABC, bring Bluey themes to life and invite fans of all ages to join in the fun through cooking, crafting, puppet-making and dancing.
In Bluey Tunes, families can sing and dance along to music videos set to top tracks from the show in 10 joyful bite-sized episodes that blend stop-motion, animation and graphics to create a colourful musical experience.
Bluey Cookalongs brings real life families together to recreate recipes inspired by beloved mealtime moments from Bluey. Kids take the lead in the kitchen – often with hilarious results – while their parents do their best to keep things on track.
Filmed across Australia, Bluey Fancy Restaurant invites kids to recreate Bluey and Bingo’s iconic Fancy Restaurant at home for their parents – each with their own unique take. This series features real families as kids whip up some culinary creations in the kitchen and guide their grownups through a playful, romantic dining experience.
Bluey Puppets is a joy-filled craft series where viewers follow the creation of some of their favourite characters from Bluey. Each of the episodes will include a pattern downloadable from the ABC Kids website, so families can recreate the fun at home.
Bluey Book Reads features famous fans reading some of the most popular Bluey story books, including Kylie and Dannii Minogue, Bindi Irwin and Eva Mendes.
