Bluey Gifts for Toddlers!
Toddlers are brilliant fun to buy for and picking the right gift for the right child is crucial!
Kids of this age are just starting to learn patterns and sequences, so simple puzzles and building toys can help them develop problem-solving skills. They’ll also be keen to get moving, so ride-on toys are a great choice as their first set of wheels. Bath toys and water play are also a safe bet, as are new additions to their ever-growing library of bedtime stories. A great gift for toddlers who’ve graduated from stacking cups and block towers, this simple set introduces them to early brick-building in a fun and accessible way. There are opportunities for number and colour recognition, as your child “scoops” and stacks different ice creams for Bluey and Dad to enjoy.
New way to play: The famous red car is big enough to hold both figures (Dad in the front and Bluey in the back) and the wheels turn, so it drives like any other toy car. It works brilliantly with a road-printed rug, or pick up some washi / masking tape printed with road markings to create your own track around the house or patio. If you have other Bluey toys and figures, dot them around to make your own version of Bluey’s world.

Grannies Car Coupe
Lovely day for a drive, wouldn’t you say, Rita? All tiny Bluey fans will instantly recognise the grannies’ favourite set of wheels, recreated for real life by Little Tikes, as a new version of the brand’s bestselling Cozy Coupe toddler car. The car has an interactive fuel cap and a clicking ignition switch, and comes with two very important props: Janet’s purple flower-shaped glasses, and a tin of beans (no doubt pilfered from the kitchen by Rita). LeapStart is an interactive learning tool that straddles the world of books and technology, offering a fun and educational alternative to apps or video games. Load a Leapstart book into the system and the stylus will read hidden dots on the page, triggering interactive challenges, questions, songs and more. The bundle comes with two books, Bluey Fun and Games and Scout & Friends Maths, and more can be purchased separately. All the activities can be replayed over and over to help build core skills.
New way to play: Although the main function of this is always going to be the interactive activities, the design of the box looks like a briefcase, meaning it’s a perfect pretend play or fancy dress prop too. Teach your kids about different professions by discussing who might carry a case like this to work, and what they might keep in it.

Bluey Beach Water Table
Although it’s called a water table, this cleverly-designed Bluey outdoor toy actually has space and tools for sand too. The Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli figures float around a lazy river on the outside of the table, while kids build sand crabs and alligators in the middle. There’s also a two-level cascading pool, a funnel and gears and a tipping bucket to add to the fun. A lid’s provided to keep the sand dry when play ends, and the water section has a plug for easy emptying.
New way to play: You can introduce lots of simple new elements to enhance play with this table. Try a few drops of dark green food colouring to turn the water into the creek, and drop some stones in to help Bluey make her way across. Bury small shells, Bluey figures or other treasures in the sand and get your child to find them all as quickly as they can.

Family Stack & Pour Bath Toy

Toddlers love to scoop, pour and play with water in the bath, so this set of Heeler family cups makes bathtime even more fun. Each of the four cups has its own handle so it’s easy to grab and scoop, and they’re designed to stack on top of each other for extra fun that doubles as smart storage. The cups have a ”sprinkling feature” (holes at the bottom, to you and me) so they can’t be used to store water, but if you’re quick enough they will still work as a handy aid to rinse hair and bodies in the bath.
New way to play: Take these out of the bathroom in warmer weather and set them up with a shallow paddling pool, a bucket or even just a big bowl of water to keep kids occupied outdoors. Up the ante by adding safe textures to the water: try ice, chopped up jello cubes or soaked chia seeds (which look and feel like frogspawn).

If you’ve got a child who’s less than excited about getting in the bath, bring Bluey along for the adventure and see if it’s enough to coax them into the bubbles without any tears. Bluey’s miniature bathtub sticks onto the side of the bath (or bathroom tiles) using suction pads, and comes with its own fill-and-press showerhead. Bluey herself can either sit in the tub, or be taken out – turned upside down she can be used as a cup/pourer. Give Bluey her own wash to show your kids how it’s done, then hope they’ll let you do the same to them using their new pal.
New way to play: If your kid has any washable toys that are looking a bit grubby, make cleaning them a fun game by turning this into a bathtub for toys. Move the tub itself to the kitchen sink, fill it with warm water and mild dish soap, and give your child an old toothbrush to use as a “back scrubber”.

Foot to Floor Ride-on Toy

A ride-on is a great tool for helping toddlers strengthen their muscles and develop their coordination skills, and, of course, it’s loads of fun! This compact, lightweight design is suitable to be used indoors, and features lots of little Bluey-inspired details. There’s a red balloon floating in the steering wheel, spinning blocks at the back featuring some familiar faces…it even has wing mirrors!
New way to play: The hinged seat can be lifted up, meaning there’s storage space underneath for little treasures. Try sending your kid on a scavenger hunt to fill this “trunk”. You don’t need to hide things ahead of time, just give them a theme like “things beginning with B” or “anything small and orange.” We promise they’ll find stuff you forgot you even had!

Junior Cruiser Tricycle

Interactive 3-in-1 Nightlight
The perfect addition to the nightstand as your kid moves to their toddler bed, this does triple duty as a nightlight, flashlight and sleep timer. Tuck Bluey into bed, and her built-in light will gently fade over 10 minutes, helping guide your kid to sleep. Then, the sleep timer will tell them when it’s ok to get out of bed, with moon and sun stars for guidance. Finally, Bluey herself can be used as a flashlight, making it a handy tool for nighttime toilet training – and you may need all the help you can get with that one!
