For each toy, we’ve included a bit of extra advice to get more out of a play session, with extended play ideas that go beyond the obvious. Spark their imagination with our new ways to play!
Best Bluey Outdoor Toys
Some of the most memorable Bluey episodes take place outdoors, and Bluey and her friends always make the most of their surroundings, be that chasing dragonflies in the Creek, exploring the kingdom of the Shadowlands or solving problems in the playground as Bluey learns to ride a bike.
Kids can learn from Bluey, Bingo and their pals on their own real life outdoor adventures using a range of Bluey-themed outdoor toys. These toys help kids grow, explore and develop key skills, and we’ve chosen some of our absolute favourites to get the fun started.

Little Tikes Bluey bushland adventure

Take a trip to visit Grandad (and Maynard) with this bushland-themed water table that can be filled in minutes for easy water-based fun. You can even attach the hose to make it even more interactive. With plenty of space for more than one kid to play, and four floating toys included (check out Bandit on his pizza floatie!) this will keep toddlers and preschoolers occupied for hours. This set is also crying out to be used for a game of barky boats!
New way to play: Who says the fun has to stop with just water? Bluey, Bingo and Grandad use mud for camouflage when they’re hiding from mum, and there’s no reason this pond can’t get a bit muddy too. Just remember to hose everything off once play is over…kids included!

Hedstrom Over-door Basketball Hoop

Hone those motor skills, aim and balance with this miniature basketball hoop, designed to be the perfect size for preschoolers. It’s designed to fit over most doors, for quick installation that won’t damage your know. Kids can then take aim at Bluey and her schoolfriends as they practice their best basketball skills.
New way to play: When the day is over (or when it’s too cold or wet to venture outside) bring this inside and hang it over the bathroom door. Swap the ball for a smaller waterproof one, prepare a splash zone, stock up on towels and worry about cleaning up later!

Bluey bubble fountain
What’s better than bubbles? How about LOADS of bubbles! Here, Bluey is transformed into a no-spill bubble machine that sends hundreds of bubbles into the air, all while playing the Bluey theme song. The machine does require 3 x AAA batteries and these are not included, so stock up when you buy to avoid disappointment.
New way to play: Once the bubble solution has run out, try making your own and adding food colouring and essential oils to make coloured, scented bubbles.

Little Tikes Bluey Beach Day Sand Box

Toddlers will love settling into one of the four moulded seats of this generously-sized sand box to make their own Bluey-shaped sandcastles. They can also roll sweet seagull footprints in the sand, as well as digging and raking to their heart’s content. Once play is over, there’s a solid lid provided to keep the sand clean and safe.
New way to play: If you have any of the small Bluey figurines, turn the sandbox into an archeological dig site and bury them for your kids to find. You could even provide some clean paint brushes for dusting. They can channel their inner Bandit as they uncover all their favourite characters.

New way to play: Test your kid’s balance skills by marking chalk lines on the ground – then ask them to scoot between the two without putting their feet on the ground. Extend the lines as they get more confident to really put their skills to the test.

Bluey Kick Scooter with Light-up Wheels

A scooter is a great investment that’s fun to ride but also practical, helping kids as young as 3 to be more independent and active. Adding Bluey into the equation ups the ante when it comes to fun, plus this scooter has built-in lights to add an extra layer of excitement. Kids will feel safe as they ride thanks to the 3-wheel design and tilt ‘n’ turn steering system that’s great for beginners.
New way to play: Once your kid is confident on their scooter, they can start learning tricks. If you have a small skate park near your home this is a great place to practice, but they can try lots of tricks, like jumping both feet off the scooter, or twisting the scooter in a 180 flip, in a safe place like a backyard or park, too.

Bluey Wendy House Play Tent

Bring the Heeler house home with this pop-up wendy house, which features Bluey and her family, and plenty of little details avid fans will recognise from the show, like the front door and window awnings. The door rolls up for easy access, and there’s also a window and a peek-a-boo hole in the roof. The tent can be used outdoors or indoors, so it’s a great buy if you live somewhere with changeable weather!
New way to play: The tent can be decorated just like your own home when big seasonal events come along. Festoon it with paper chain for the festive season, cover it with (pretend) cobwebs at Halloween, or add some cute pastel touches at Easter.

12V Bluey 4-Wheeler Ride-on, Battery Powered Car
Little kids get a seriously powerful set of their own wheels with this ride-on, which is powered by a 12V battery. It’s great if you have a big yard or access to parks, gardens or other safe outdoor areas where the kids can explore. The ride-on mimics off-road driving, with rugged wheels and an open top. There are Bluey sounds built into the controls, and the car goes forwards or in reverse so kids can practice their manoeuvres.
New way to play: Once your child is confident with the controls, set up obstacles to make their drive a bit trickier. We’ll give you bonus points is the obstacles are Bluey-themed, like Doreen’s trash cans, or an unsupervised Grannymobile. Just don’t let Muffin use it to deliver pizza.

6V Bluey Bumper Car Ride-on
Bring all the fun of the fair home with this awesome Bluey bumper car. The compact ride-on is controlled via joysticks, allowing kids to spin around and move forwards and backwards at a safely controlled speed across flat surfaces. There are also built-in lights around the edge for added fun, creating rainbow patterns as the bumper car moves.
New way to play: Get your kids working on hand-eye coordination by creating a rainbow route for them to follow. Stick down paper or cardboard spots in different colours, then call out different colours for them to drive towards. You can adjust the routes so the game grows with their skill level.

Kids Training Roller Skates
If you have a kid who’s eager to learn how to skate, these 4-wheel training skates will get them moving in no time.
