Bluey as Gaeilge is now available to watch on RTÉ KIDSjr. Tá Bluey ag teacht go RTÉ!

Bluey is now available as Gaeilge on RTÉ KIDS and RTÉ Player. Children will be able to connect with the Irish language in a new way, learning new words through watching their favourite Bluey episodes.

26 episodes from series one have been translated into Irish and episodes will be available to stream from Monday 6 April. And more episodes will be available as Gaeilge later this year. The series has been voiced in Irish by Conamara actors Gráinne Bleasdale as Bluey, Laoise Ní Nualláin as little sister Bingo, Meadhbh Ní Eidhin as Mam, Chilli and Pól Ó Gríofa as Dad, Bandit.

Bluey, Mum, Dad and Bingo dance in the playroom together.

Dermot Horan, RTÉ Director of Acquisitions and Co-Productions said: “RTÉ is delighted to be able to offer our younger viewers the choice to now watch Bluey, one of the most popular pre- school shows in the world, as Gaeilge. This is all part of our strategy to make the biggest kids’ brands available to parents and children in both Irish and English.”

Suzanne Kelly, RTÉ Group Head of Children’s and Young People’s Content said: “We are so thrilled to be welcoming Bluey as Gaeilge to RTÉ KIDSjr. Bluey has established itself as a firm family favourite across our service, and now we get to introduce Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad to a whole new audience!
